An outsider who involuntarily gets involved in the messy and dangerous underworld of the Russian Mafia, as a midwife who delivers a baby for a teenage mother who dies after childbirth. Upon discovering a diary with the dead mother, Anna lets curiosity get the better of her and it leads her to discover things she really shouldn’t know.
